The activities of the Exeterwoollies Craft Group include all wool based Arts and Crafts (feltmaking, peg-looming, spinning, dyeing, knitting, crochet, embroidery etc.). Tuition is free as we share ideas, develop techniques, and explore creative possibilities using wool while enjoying each other's company.

We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month. On the first Wednesday we have a workshop developing a particular technique. On the third Wednesday we have a general session where everyone does their own thing. See below for details of the next meeting and for directions to the venue.

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be on Wednesday 15'th February, 10.00 to 12.30 in St James Church Hall (EX4 7AD), by Union Road roundabout, Exeter.

This will be a general session.

Kitchen facilities are available in the St James Church Hall if you would like to bring along tea or coffee.

Any suggestions for future meetings are welcome.

Directions

* From the University: With the main University campus on your left travel along Prince of Wales Road. At the traffic lights go straight across into Union Road. At the end of Union Road take the third exit from the roundabout into Mount Pleasant Road. The car park for the Church and Church Hall is on your left.

* From the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital: Travel up Barrack Road with the hospital on your right. At the top of the hill go straight across two sets of traffic lights into Polsloe Road. At the end of Polsloe Road go straight across the traffic lights into Mount Pleasant Road. At the end of Mount Pleasant Road, just before the roundabout, you will see St James Church and the car park on your right.

*From the Paris Street Bus Station: At the roundabout just below the Bus Station, take the exit with the Vue Cinema on your left. At the roundabout at the top of the hill take the second exit into Old Tiverton Road. At the end of Old Tiverton Road is the Union Road roundabout. Take the fourth exit into Mount Pleasant Road. The car park for the Church and Church Hall is on your left.
